The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, Kano State, has released the screening schedule for applicants to its 13th Regular Course. The comprehensive exercise will take place from Wednesday, 9 September to Friday, 18 September 2026. It covers the Computer-Based Test (CBT), physical features screening, medical screening and the Selection Board interview.
Applicants who applied for the 2026/2027 RC-13 admission exercise should now check their invitation status on the official POLAC admission portal, print the examination or invitation slip and begin preparing the documents required at the Academy. The examination slip printing window runs from 25 August to 8 September 2026.
As at Friday, 28 August 2026, the slip-printing cut-off was 11 calendar days away. This is a current screening instruction for people who already applied; it is not a new application announcement. The application portal says new applications are closed, while the invitation-checking function remains available.

Check your POLAC invitation and print the slip
Use the official POLAC admission portal. The portal’s invitation checker asks for the email address and JAMB registration number used during the application.
- Open the POLAC portal and select Print Your Invite or Print My Invitation Letter.
- Enter the email address used for the RC-13 application.
- Enter your JAMB registration number exactly as submitted.
- Click the check button and confirm whether you have been invited.
- Download or print the invitation letter and examination acknowledgment slip where the portal provides them.
- Keep both a paper copy and a saved digital copy. Check that your name, state, batch and examination details are readable before travelling.
If the portal returns “no record found”, first recheck the email address and JAMB registration number used during application. Do not pay an agent to create a replacement record or rely on an unofficial social-media link. The Academy specifically warns candidates about fake accounts impersonating POLAC.

The notice describes the overall screening period as 9–18 September because the CBT is only one part of the exercise. Your invitation and instructions from the Academy should be treated as the final guide for the exact screening sequence after you report.
Documents required at the screening venue
POLAC says candidates should bring both original copies and photocopies of the following:
- Primary School Leaving Certificate
- SSCE result from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB
- JAMB result slip
- Birth certificate or declaration of age
- Local Government Area (LGA) indigene certificate
- Letter of identification
- Properly completed and signed guarantor’s form
- Medical certification of fitness from a government hospital
- NIN slip
- Four passport photographs
- Application acknowledgment slip printed from the POLAC admission portal
Arrange the documents in a labelled file before travelling. Make photocopies in advance and check that names and dates are consistent across the documents. If a document is not available or a name is spelt differently, contact the Academy through its official channel before the screening date; do not alter an official document yourself.
POLAC screening dress code and arrival instructions
The official notice specifies the following dress code:

- White socks
- White canvas shoes
Candidates are expected to be at the Academy one day before their examination date. The notice says candidates will be accommodated within the Academy during the screening period and that parents are not allowed into the Academy during the exercise. Confirm any travel, accommodation or health arrangements with the Academy before departure, particularly if you are travelling from another state.
