NNPC Chevron Scholarship 2024 has now commenced applications for suitably qualified Nigerian students from all States of the Federation.

Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) in collaboration with its Joint Venture (JV) partner,  the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), is offering several  University Scholarship Awards to suitably qualified Nigerian students from all States of the Federation.

The scholarship program is a major component of Chevron’s strategic social investment in the development of education in Nigeria.

Program Overview

The NNPC Chevron Scholarship is an annual N200,000 award offered by the oil and gas company to eligible Nigerian students in all accredited universities across the nation.

These two companies are offering a number of  University Scholarship awards to suitably qualified Nigerian students from all States of the Federation.

NNPC Chevron Scholarship 2024 Requirements:

To be considered for the NNPC/Chevron Scholarship, you must:

  1. Be a full-time, Second year (200 LEVEL) degree student studying any of the under-listed courses in Nigerian Universities.
  2. Have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 in a 5.0 grade system or the equivalent in other grade systems.
  3. Have a minimum of six O-level credits in one sitting.

The NNPC/Chevron Joint Venture also offers scholarships specifically to blind/visually impaired SECOND-YEAR (200 LEVEL) degree students studying any course in Nigerian Universities.

Applicants must:

  • Have a minimum CGPA of 2.5 in a 5.0 grade system or the equivalent in other grade systems.
  • Have a minimum of five O-level credits.

    • Passport photograph not more than 6 months old (450 px by 450 px not more than 200 kb)
    • School ID card
    • Admission Letter

How To Apply for NNPC Chevron Scholarship 2024 (Step-by-Step)

To apply for the NNPC/Chevron Scholarship 2024, interested and qualified applicants should follow the steps below;

  1. Click here to visit the scholarship application web page.
  2. Click on “Apply Now” tab, create, verify, and log in to an account.
  3. Return to the Scholarship site and enter your registered email and password to upload your information.
  4. Enter your personal information, National Identification Number, educational information, other information and upload required scanned documents.
  5. Ensure the name used in applications matches the names on all documentation in same order.
  6. Ensure you view all documents after uploading, to eliminate errors during uploading.
  7. When asked to upload photo, upload a passport photograph with a white background.
  8. Recheck application information to avoid errors.
  9. You will receive a notification displayed on the screen and via email that you have successfully applied. To confirm Check “My application” under “My account” section on your profile account.
  10. Note: Multiple applications may attract a disqualification penalty from the Scholarship board

  • Applicants and successful candidates are not required to make any payments whatsoever. Application for the 2024 NNPCL/CNL JV National University Scholarship program is free.

  • Any candidate found to have presented false documents will be disqualified or withdrawn at any level of the scholarship process.
  • If awarded the scholarship, you cannot transfer the offer to another university or course of study.
