The National Universities Commission (NUC) has given full accreditation to 14 University of Abuja programmes.
The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved several of the University’s academic programs for accreditation in October/November 2021.

We can say that 14 programmes at the university have received full accreditation, including MBBS, accountancy, and veterinary medicine. Six courses received interim certification, while full accreditation for Banking and Finance was rejected.

Those who have received full accreditation are:

History
Arts of the Theatre
Administration and planning in education
History of education Physics of education
Information science and library science
Studies in primary education
Social sciences
Accounting
Administration of business
MBBS \sSociology
Veterinary medicine is the practice of treating animals.
Interim accreditation is granted to the following individuals:

Religious Studies in Christianity
Islamic Religious Studies in English
Linguistics \sPhilosophy
The field of computer science
This status is set to expire in 2026.
