The Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun (FUHSI) has released the Post-UTME screening results for the 2026/2027 academic session. Candidates who took part in the university’s screening exercise can now sign in to the official FUHSI admission portal to view, download and print their screening result slip.

This update is for candidates who already created an application account and participated in the 2026/2027 FUHSI Post-UTME or Direct Entry screening exercise. It is not a new application announcement. The FUHSI portal currently displays a returning-applicant sign-in route and states that it is no longer receiving new applications for the 2026/2027 session.

Most importantly, a screening result is not the same thing as an admission offer. FUHSI has not yet released the departmental cut-off marks or the 2026/2027 admission list, according to the current result update. Candidates should therefore use the result to understand their screening position, but continue checking the university portal and official website for the next admission announcement.

How to Check FUHSI Post-UTME Screening Result

Use the following steps to access your result:

  1. Open the official FUHSI admission portal.
  2. Locate the Returning Applicants, Sign In section.
  3. Enter the UTME or Direct Entry registration number used for your FUHSI application.
  4. Enter your application password and select Sign In.
  5. Open the My Admission section on your dashboard.
  6. Select Check Screening Result.
  7. If the result is available, select Print Result Slip to download or print a copy.

Save a digital copy of the result slip on your phone or email and keep at least one printed copy. The document may be useful when FUHSI publishes further instructions or begins the next stage of its admission process.

Also Print Your FUHSI Application Form

Current guidance also tells candidates to print their original application form from the dashboard. After signing in, open My Application, choose Forms & Printouts, and download the form.

Keep the application form together with your result slip, JAMB result details and O’Level information. Do not alter any document after downloading it. If FUHSI later requests physical verification or clearance, having the original documents ready will reduce delays.

What to Do If the FUHSI Result Is Not Showing

Do not immediately assume that your result has been cancelled if the dashboard does not load it. Work through these checks:

  • Confirm that you are using the same UTME or Direct Entry registration number used during registration.
  • Re-enter the password carefully and use the portal’s Forgot password? option if necessary.
  • Check that you are signing in through portal.fuhsi.edu.ng/apply, not a copied link or an unofficial agent’s page.
  • Try again later if the portal is busy, but keep a screenshot of any persistent error message.
  • Contact FUHSI through the published support channels and include your registration number when requesting help.

The portal lists admissions@fuhsi.edu.ng and helpdesk@fuhsi.edu.ng for support. It also lists WhatsApp support at 08071380453. Use these channels for account or result problems; do not pay an individual who claims to be able to change a score or secure admission.

A Screening Result Does Not Mean Admission

Candidates should separate three different stages of the process:

Stage Meaning What the candidate should do
Screening result Your Post-UTME screening has been processed and a result slip is available. Check, download and keep the slip.
Departmental cut-off mark The university’s later benchmark for considering candidates by programme. Wait for FUHSI’s official announcement.
Admission offer FUHSI has offered you a place through the recognised admission process. Follow the acceptance and clearance instructions only after the offer appears.

A candidate may see a screening score without having an admission offer. Likewise, a candidate who is not yet admitted should not treat the current result page as a rejection unless FUHSI officially says so. The admission list and departmental benchmarks are separate updates.

FUHSI 2026/2027 Screening Requirements to Keep Ready

FUHSI’s admission portal requires candidates to use accurate application information and keep their documents available. Depending on the next stage, candidates should be ready to provide:

  • UTME or Direct Entry registration details;
  • JAMB result information;
  • O’Level results uploaded or reflected correctly on the relevant admission record;
  • the FUHSI application form;
  • the printed Post-UTME screening result slip;
  • valid contact details used during registration; and
  • any additional documents listed in a later official clearance notice.

Do not upload a document or pay a fee simply because an agent sends a message. Confirm every later instruction on the FUHSI official website or inside your personal portal account.

Is There a Deadline to Check the FUHSI Result?

No universal deadline for checking or printing the screening result has been stated in the current update. That does not mean candidates should ignore the result. Check it now, download the slip and monitor the official portal regularly because the admission list, departmental cut-off marks, acceptance instructions or clearance dates may be published later.

Because no result-checking deadline has been announced, candidates should not rely on a deadline shared in WhatsApp groups unless it appears on an official FUHSI channel. If the university later sets a closing date or introduces a new payment step, verify it before taking action.
