Enugu Govt Cancels Saturday Sanitation for UTME — Here’s Why It Matters!
Because of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), the Enugu government has canceled the environmental sanitation operation that was supposed to take place on Saturday.
Chidiebere Onyia, the secretary to the state government, made this announcement in a statement on Tuesday.
According to Mr. Onyia, the cancelation was made to allow candidates who were enrolled in the state’s UTME, which was administered by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, to take the test.
The SSG stated that there will be no movement restrictions on Saturday and that state citizens should keep their surroundings clean.
Two million thirty thousand six hundred and twenty-seven people registered nationwide to take the test, which is set to begin on April 24.
Of these numbers, 41,026 applicants for the test are younger than 16 years old.
