WAEC Launches Konnect Platform with Digital Learning Tools for Students Across West Africa!
To assist pupils getting ready for the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released a series of online study tools.
This program is a component of WASSCE’s larger endeavor to offer candidates easily accessible and efficient study resources.
Dr. Amos Dangut, Head of WASSCE’s Nigeria National Office, announced at a press briefing on Thursday.
To help candidates with their review, he clarified that the new digital platforms provide extensive resources covering WASSCE core, arts, science, and commercial courses.
The authorized exam preparation tool for candidates getting ready for the WASSCE is the WAEC E-Study Portal. Schools, educators, and students can now access previous multiple-choice or theory-based WASSCE questions, lesson plans, marking schemes, and performance insights thanks to this, Dr. Dangut stated.
To use the platform, students are advised to go to waec.estudy.ng.
The portal offers performance data in addition to previous questions and marking guidelines, allowing students to evaluate their areas of strength and growth.
“Students’ past exam results are examined to identify areas of weakness and provide solutions to help candidates learn,” he continued.
Dr. Dangut also emphasized the availability of extra study resources on WAEConline.org.ng, such as Chief Examiners’ Reports, marking schemes, and answers to previous questions.
To help candidates learn, he clarified, “This is a compilation of previous WASSCE questions with answers, the marking schemes, and the Chief Examiners’ Report on the relevant examination diets.”
Additionally, WAEC has launched WAEC Konnect, a stand-alone portal intended to help candidates, schools, and the council communicate. All parties involved in the exam preparation process should be kept informed and involved by the site.
Additionally, the WAEC Konnect platform was created to let candidates and interested parties communicate with the council and with one another in order to get ready for the test, Dr. Dangut stated.
To make candidates feel more competent and confident, WAEC Konnect, which can be accessed at waeckonnect.com, also offers past test papers, recommended solutions, and chief examiners’ reports.
As the educational landscape changes, the Council, a statutory examination organization for English-speaking West African countries, keeps coming up with new ideas. An estimated 1.97 million candidates from more than 23,500 schools around Nigeria are anticipated to take the WASSCE’s first-ever Computer-Based Test (CBT).
This action comes after WAEC previously introduced a digital certificate framework in October 2022 that enables worldwide certificate access and verification.
For students and institutions throughout the world, the platform is regarded as a major breakthrough in guaranteeing quicker, safer, and more dependable credentialing procedures.
