The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria has granted full accreditation to the Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM) (MDCN).
The accreditation status was revealed in a letter signed by the Registrar of the Body, Dr. T.A.B Sanusi, dated 5th April, 2022, which stated in part: “I have the pleasure to convey Council’s approval for your University to be re-accredited for the next five (5) years with effect from January, 2022.”
Remember that the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria’s accreditation visitation team was on the LASUCOM Campus in Ikeja on January 26th and 27th, 2022 to assess the College’s programs.
Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, the Vice Chancellor, expressed her delight at the accreditation, noting that it validated the College’s efforts to become the best in the country.
