Admission Requirements into UNN Law

UNN offers two primary entry modes for

  • JAMB UTME Entry (100-Level):

This is for students who wrote JAMB, the standard entry mode for students with the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), or their equivalents.

JAMB Subject Combination For UNN Law

For the UTME exams, you’ll need to select the following subjects:

  • English Language
  • Literature in English
  • Government
  • Economics or CRK

JAMB Cut-Off Mark:

UNN has a general UTME cut-off mark for all courses, typically ranging between 160 – 200.

However, for competitive courses like Law, achieving the minimum will not guarantee admission.

UNN Law O’Level Requirements

You need 5 O Level credit passes in

    • English language,
    • Mathematics,
    • Literature in English
    • Government
    • Economics
    • Any other relevant subject must not exceed two (2) sittings.

 

  • Direct Entry:

To qualify for Direct Entry into Law in UNN, you must have a minimum of five (5) credits in your O’Level results, which can be from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
