UNILAG Aggregate Score Calculation Explained—Everything You Need to Know to Secure Admission!
Here’s how UNILAG calculates your aggregate score for admission screening:
- O’Level (WAEC/NECO)—20%
UNILAG considers your best 5 relevant subjects, based on your course requirements. Each grade is scored as follows:
A1 = 4.0
B2 = 3.6
B3 = 3.2
C4 = 2.8
C5 = 2.4
C6 = 2.0
Your total O’Level score is out of 20.
- UTME (JAMB)—50%
Your JAMB score is converted by dividing it by 8.
Example: If you scored 280
in JAMB → 280 ÷ 8 = 35/50
3. Post-UTME—30%
Your Post-UTME score is taken as it is (out of 30). UNILAG usually conducts CBT screening exams for this (I believe this is the easiest part in the admission process)
Final Aggregate = O’Level (20) + JAMB (50) + Post-UTME (30) = 100%
This final score determines your eligibility for admission into your chosen department
