Eligibility for UNIDEL Post-UTME

Before embarking on the application process, ensure you meet the eligibility criteria:

  1. Minimum UTME Score: You must have scored a minimum of 140 in the 2024 UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
  2. Change of Institution: If UNIDEL wasn’t your first choice during JAMB registration, you must have successfully completed the change of institution process to UNIDEL.
  3. Course Selection: The course you’re applying for through Post-UTME must be the same one you chose as your first choice during JAMB registration. Applications not meeting this criteria will be automatically disqualified.
  4. Academic Qualification: You must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects from your SSCE, NECO, or GCE O/L exams at not more than two sittings.
  5. Age Requirement: Applicants must be 16 years old or above.

How to Apply for UNIDEL Post-UTME

The application process is entirely online. Here’s a step-by-step guide to make it smooth sailing:

  1. Visit the Application Portal: Go to https://unidel.waeup.org/applicants/ase2024.
  2. Register: Click on “Register for application” and fill in the required details:
    • Surname (exactly as written on your JAMB UTME slip)
    • JAMB UTME Registration Number
    • Active Email Address
  3. Verify Your Information: Click “Send credentials to email address.” You’ll receive an email containing your applicant ID and password.
  4. Access Your Application: Open the email, click the confirmation link, and log in using your credentials.
  5. Complete the Application: Click on “Edit application record” and provide all the necessary information. Print a copy of the completed form for your records.

 

Payment Instructions:

  1. Login: Go to https://unidel.waeup.org/login and enter your username and password.
  2. Payment Option: Click “Edit application record” and then “Add online payment ticket” at the bottom of the page.
  3. Interswitch Payment: Choose your preferred payment method:
    • ATM-enabled Verve or Mastercard from any bank.
  4. Confirm and Pay: Once you have your payment ID, click “CollegePAY” and review your payment details. If everything looks correct, click “Submit” to proceed with the payment through the Interswitch gateway.
  5. Card Details: Select your card type (Verve, Visa, or Mastercard), enter your card number, expiry date, CVV2 (the 3-digit number at the back of your card), and PIN. Finally, click “Pay.”
  6. Print Confirmation: Upon successful payment, click “Submit” and print your application slip for your records.

 

Important Reminders:

  1. The application deadline is strict. Ensure you complete your application and payment before August 7th, 2024 (12:00 Midnight).
  2. Bags and mobile phones are strictly prohibited at the screening venue.
  3. Upload your O’ level results on the JAMB Portal. Don’t forget to do this before the screening.

 

Screening Schedule:

The computer-based Post-UTME screening exercise will take place between August 13th and 15th, 2024. The specific date and time for your screening will be communicated by UNIDEL.
