Eko University of Medical and Health Sciences (EkoUNIMED), Ijanikin, Lagos State, is now accepting applications for the 2022/2023 academic session’s post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercises. Below are the requirements, cut-off marks, and instructions for applying for the EkoUNIMED post-UTME form.
Eko University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Ijanikin, Lagos State, has released the application/post-UTME form for candidates seeking admission to the university for the academic year 2022/2023.

The Joint Admission Matriculation Board accepts applicants for both Direct Entry (200 level) and UTME (100 level) admission (JAMB).

Courses and Requirements for EkoUNIMED
AVAILABLE PROGRAMS

Clinical Sciences Faculty
MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) – 5 or 6 years
Basic Medical Sciences Faculty
Bachelor of Science in Human Anatomy, Bachelor of Science in Medical Biochemistry, Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology, and Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology
Program duration – 3 or 4 years

REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION FOR ALL CANDIDATES

For the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, all candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in English language, mathematics, biology, chemistry, and physics at WAEC/NECO (or equivalent recognized by the University) in not more than two (2) sittings.
Candidates must meet any extra suitability criteria, which may include an interview.
MBBS DEGREE PROGRAM SPECIFIC ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Medical and surgical bachelor’s degrees (MBBS)

Graduates in Basic Medical Sciences, Nursing Sciences, Physiotherapy, Biological Sciences, Zoology (B.Sc. 2nd Class Lower Division) or GCE A-level / HSC passes in Biology/Zoology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics (Good A-level passes) or JUPEB (Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board) passes in Biology, Chemistry, Physics/Mathematics (Good A- level passes).
BASIC MEDICAL SCIENCES FACULTY

Science graduates from accredited universities (at least a B.Sc. 2nd Class Lower Division), or NCE at credit level, ND, and recognized equivalents with at least a Lower Credit in related subjects.
Biology/zoology, chemistry, and Physics / Mathematics GCE A-level/ HSC passes, or
IJMB (Interim Joint Matriculation Board), JUPEB (Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board) passes in Biology, Chemistry, Physics / Mathematics, Or other Foundation Programmes recognised by the institution.

Post-UTME Eligibility at EkoUNIMED
The following individuals will be considered for the screening:

UTME Applicants;

Candidates who choose the university and meet the minimum cut-off mark in the UTME.
Candidates for Direct Entry:

Candidates who apply for Direct Entry Admission into the University through JAMB with a minimum of 10 points in their A’ Level/JUPEB Results (Sciences) or a First Degree with a minimum of 2nd Class Lower in relevant fields.
How to Fill Out the EkoUNIMED Post-UTME Application
While filling up the Application/ PUTME form, each eligible candidate should pay online. Administrative fees are applied. Each candidate must first register a profile on the University e-Portal (http://ekounimed.edu.ng/applications) before generating a Payment Invoice. Only the e-Portal can be used to make payments.
