Eligibility

UTME Candidates:

  1. You must have chosen OOU as your first or second choice institution during UTME registration.
  2. If you chose OOU as your second choice, you must be willing to change it to your first choice.
  3. You need a minimum UTME score of 160 in the 2024/2025 exams.

Direct Entry Candidates:

  1. You must have applied for Direct Entry admission through JAMB to OOU.
  2. You need to have a minimum of Upper Credit for a Diploma from an approved institution.
  3. Other qualifications include ‘A’ Level/ OND/HND/NCE/A’LEVEL/JUPEB Results/Certificate or First Degree.

 

Application Process

The application process is entirely online. Here’s how to apply:

1.Visit the OOU Post-UTME portal: https://putme.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng/

2. Create a profile and generate a payment invoice.

3. Make a payment of N2,000 using one of these options:

  • Online payment
  • OOU Campus POS (any OOU campus)
  • Olabisi Onabanjo University Guest House, Ijebu-Ode (for Ijebu-Ode applicants only)

4. After payment, return to the OOU Post-UTME portal and complete the online registration form.

5. Print out your OOU PUTME Screening Pass one week before the screening date.

 

Important Dates

  1. Application deadline (UTME & Direct Entry): The application period typically lasts eight weeks. Be sure to check the official OOU website for the exact deadline.
  2. Screening Dates: Tuesday, September 3rd to Thursday, September 5th, 2024 (subject to change).
