Who Is Eligible for OAU Post UTME 2026/2027?

• UTME candidates who chose OAU as their first-choice institution and scored 200 and above in the 2026 JAMB exam.
• Candidates who have changed their institution of first-choice to OAU on JAMB portal. Check the admissions portal to confirm your update and proceed.
• Direct Entry (DE) applicants with at least an Upper Credit in relevant diplomas (HND, JUPEB, A-Levels, etc.)
• OAU Pre-Degree and JUPEB students who chose OAU first and scored 200+ in UTME (handled through the Centre for Distance Learning)

Note: Candidates who did not choose OAU as first choice or scored below 200 are not eligible.

Requirements for OAU Post UTME Form 2026

Before you start your application, have the following ready:

• JAMB Registration Number (your login username) Your surname as password
• Scanned O’Level result(s): WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. Five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language, in not more than two sittings. Mathematics credit is required for all faculties except Arts, Law, and BA Education
• JAMB result slip / notification of result
• Recent passport photograph (clear, white background)
• Valid debit card or Remita access for the ₦2,000 screening fee
• Awaiting-result candidates may apply but must upload their O’Level results once available

How to buy OAU Post UTME Form 2026/2027

1. Visit the official OAU admissions portal: Click Here
2. Log in with your JAMB Registration Number as username and surname as password.
3. Fill in all personal and academic details accurately
4. Click “Continue” to proceed to payment.
5. Retrieve your RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) number from the portal.
6. Pay the ₦2,000 screening fee online via debit card or at any bank branch through Remita.
7. Once payment is confirmed, the system logs you out automatically, you cannot log back in, so verify everything before submitting.
8. Print your acknowledgement slip and keep it safe.

Important Note: Providing false information or uploading wrong credentials will lead to automatic disqualification. OAU does not use admission agents.

OAU Post UTME 2026/2027 Screening Exercise

The 2026/2027 OAU Post UTME screening will be conducted physically at designated venues. The aptitude test covers your UTME subject combinations and may include related topics.

Candidates should:

• Watch the admissions portal for their screening schedule and venue after registration closes.
• Arrive at the screening venue withtheir acknowledgement slip and valid ID.
• Leave all electronic devices including phones, smartwatches, iPads, at home. They are not permitted in the exam hall.

Note that final admission scores are computed as an aggregate of JAMB score + Post-UTME score

The general JAMB cut-off for OAU is 200, but individual departments set their own internal benchmarks. High-demand courses are significantly more competitive:

Medicine & Surgery: among the highest cut-offs in the university (Score at least 280-300)

Pharmacy: consistently competitive (close to Medicine)

Law: high aggregate required

Engineering programmes: strong UTME and Post-UTME scores needed.

Departmental cut-off marks are published after the screening exercise.
