The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted full accreditation status to Law and four other degree programmes offered by the Yobe State University (YSU).
Yobe State University has received full accreditation from the National University Commission (NUC) for five programs: law, English language, biology, computer science, and statistics.
This was stated in a letter signed by Dr Maryam Sali, Director of Accreditation at the National Universities Commission (NUC).
As a result, the University now has 41 fully accredited undergraduate programs.
Professor Mala M. Daura, Vice-Chancellor of the institution, expressed his appreciation for the University’s achievement in the accreditation process.
He also thanked Yobe state governor Mai Mala Buni for the massive infrastructural and logistical support provided to ensure the success of the exercise, as well as NUC for the assessment and grant of full accreditation for the programs.
