For interested applicants, the deadline for applying to NDA 74RC has been extended to April 7, 2022. The NDA Screening Test/Exam Centre selection would take place from 8 a.m. on April 8 to 13 a.m. on April 13, 2022. Applicants must complete and submit their applications by midnight on April 7, 2022.
NDA Admission form – The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna 2022/2023 academic session 74th Regular Course admission application form is out and now available online.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission to the 74th regular course (Degree programmes) of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) for the 2021/2022 academic session.
Candidates accepted into the NDA for the Regular Course will receive military and academic training as Officer Cadets for a period of five years for Nigerian Army cadets, four years for Nigerian Navy cadets, and four years for Nigerian Air Force cadets. Graduates will receive an honors degree in a core discipline after successfully completing training (BSc, BEng, BA). They will also receive a Presidential Commission into the Nigerian Armed Forces.
The 74th regular course admission online application form for the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) will be available for purchase from Monday, October 25, 2021 to Thursday, April 7, 2022. It is open to both men and women.
The screening test will be conducted as phase one of the Post-UTME screening. Only candidates with the JAMB 2022 Registration Numberwill be eligible to write the exams.
Only candidates who score a minimum of 180 (for Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences, Science and Military Science & Interdisciplinary Studies) and 210 (for Faculty of Engineering) in the JAMB 2022 examination shall be offered admission into NDA by the AFSB.
Admission Requirements for NDA 74th Regular Course
Candidates for admission to the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) on the 74 Regular Course must have the following qualifications:
Must be medically and physically fit, as well as having a good moral character.
You must be a single male or female with no legal obligation to support any children or other people.
Present a certificate of indigeneity from the state or local government area.
You must be at least 17 years old and no older than 21 years old as of September 1st of the year you apply to the Academy.
A minimum of 5 ordinary level credits at GCE, SSCE (WAEC, NECO, NBAIS, and NABTEB) English language, Mathematics, and three other subjects relevant to the intended program at not more than two years.
Must have passed the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) and achieved an acceptable minimum national standard (as determined by the JAMB annual policy meeting) in English language, Mathematics, and any other two subjects relevant to the proposed course of study as specified by the university.
Must NOT be less than 1.68 meters tall for male and 1.65 meters for female.
French, Arabic and Mandarin language is an added advantage.
Candidates are to note the following:
Application forms submitted without ordinary level results will NOT be accepted.
Candidates awaiting results are not qualified.
Only ordinary level examination results of NOT more than 5 years old from the date of examination will be accepted.
Admission into the Academy is for both male and female Nigerians only
