NECO Denies Recruitment Rumors in 2025 Update

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has distanced itself from an online report claiming that the Council intends to hire new employees.

This was stated in a release provided to journalists in Abuja on Wednesday by Azeez Sani, the Acting Director of Information and Public Relations at NECO.

Sani urged the public to ignore the report, clarifying that there are no plans to recruit new personnel.

“The Council firmly asserts that the report is fabricated by scammers looking to deceive unsuspecting members of the public.

“NECO, under the capable leadership of the Registrar/Chief Executive, Prof. Dantani Wushishi, will always follow due process and applicable laws when the Federal Government grants approval for hiring new staff,” he stated.
