NECO 2025 BECE Results Are Out! Check Your Junior WAEC Scores Instantly!

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has declared the availability of the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results.

Azeez Sani, the interim director of public affairs at NECO, announced this on Wednesday, July 9, during the award committee meeting, revealing that a total of 179,201 candidates registered for the examination across 12 subjects.

NECO clarified in a statement that the examination began on May 12, 2025, and concluded on May 23, 2025.

The results were made public following the successful completion of the 2025 BECE Award Committee Meeting held at the council’s headquarters in Minna, Niger State.

Folake David, the director of basic education at the Federal Ministry of Education, who chaired the award committee, expressed her satisfaction with the processes that led to the successful release of the results during the meeting.

The award committee meeting included the participation of various secondary school principals from around the country, as well as members of the NECO management.

Additionally, the award committee ratified the date and timetable for the resit of the 2025 BECE.

According to NECO, the resit examinations are set to take place on July 23 and 24, 2025, for mathematics and English studies.
