National Youth Service Corps, NYSC 2021 Batch ‘A’ Winding-up/Passing Out (POP) date has been announced
The Management of the National Youth Service Corps has fixed Thursday, 17th February 2022 for the Winding up/Passing out activities of the 2021 Batch ‘A’ Corps Members Nationwide.
The event shall be devoid of the ceremonial parade as a result of the great threat and danger posed by Coronavirus which the entire globe has been battling.
In keeping with the COVID-19 protocol of social/physical distancing, Certificate of National Service (CNS) shall be issued to qualified Corps Members at the Local Government level.
NB: This is to inform all 2021 Batch ‘A’ Corps Members scheduled to Pass-Out on the above date that they must submit their final clearances from their employers.
For purposes of clarity and emphasis, the Local Government Inspectors are to ensure that Corps Employers sign and stamp such clearances.
Corps members, who are not at their places of primary assignment due to COVID-19, shall equally submit final clearance before the issuance of their certificates, upon return to their state of deployment.
NYSC Passing Out (POP) Events for 2021 Batch ‘A’ Corpers
Below is the event of the programmes of activities:-
1. Monday 7th – Wednesday 10th February 2022
a. Release of Passing out corps Members by employers
b. Registration/Clearing of Corps Members by local government inspectors.
2. Thursday 11th – Monday 14th February 2022
a. Signing of final clearance by zonal inspectors.
b. Administration of the questionnaire (form 48) on 30% of the passing out corps members.
3. Tuesday 15th – Wednesday 16th February 2022
a. Signing of final clearance by zonal inspectors
4. Thursday 17th February 2022
a. Distribution of National Certificate to deserving corps members at Local Government Level.
Dear Corps Members, as you go for your CNS on Thursday, 17th February 2022, remember to ensure the strictest observance of discipline; anchored on orderliness, adherence to instructions, added to the rules of social/physical distancing, use of face-mask, hand sanitiser and proper washing of the hands with liquid soap for at least twenty seconds during the activity.
