Admissions form for Newgate College of Health Technology – Newgate College of Health Technology in Minna, Niger State, has begun accepting applications for admission to its Certificate, Diploma, ND, and HND programs for the academic year 2022/2023.

Admissions Requirements for Newgate College of Health Technology
NURSING IN PUBLIC HEALTH
Registered Nurse in Nigeria (NRN).
In nursing, a National Diploma or its equivalent is required.
Holders of the aforementioned credentials must have a minimum of O’level credits in English, Math, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
TECHNICIAN IN ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
Minimum of 5 WASSC/SSCE/GCE/NECO passes in not more than two sittings. English Language, Biology or Health Science, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, and any other course must receive three (3) credit passes.
HEALTH EXTENSION WORKER IN THE COMMUNITY (CHEW)
Not more than two (2) sittings of WASSC/SSCE/GCE/NECO O’level with five (5) credit level passes. English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Health Science must all be included. – Candidates who hold a JCHEW certificate also have an edge.
UNIFORMED HEALTH EXTENSION WORKER IN THE COMMUNITY (JCHEW)
Three (3) credits and two (2) passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, and any other two subjects at O’level WASSC or NECO in no more than two sittings.
DIPLOMA IN HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
At the SSCE/WASSC or its equivalent, five credits in O’level must be obtained in no more than two sittings. English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Physics or Chemistry, and any other subject are required.
HND HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT HND HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT HND HEALTH INFORMATION
H.I.M. National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of lower credit.
A minimum of lower credit and five (5) O’level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology or Health Science in either WAEC/NECO at not more than two sittings are required for the Health Record Technician Certificate.
Candidates must have completed a year of industry attachment prior to applying. ND holders with an initial JAMB score of 150 are exempt from taking the exam. Candidates without ND credentials, on the other hand, must have a JAMB score of 160 or higher.
TECHNICIAN IN PHARMACY
Five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at not more than two (2) sittings in WASSC/SSCE/GCE/NECO.
TECHNICIAN IN MEDICAL LABORATORY
WASSC/SSCE/GCE/NECO – Four-credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry with at least a pass in Physics are required. (The Registration Board will reject results that are more than 10 years old as of the date of this registration.)
Those who are in charge of a medical laboratory. With the above O’level, an assistant certificate is required.
