LASU Admission 2025: Everything You Need to Know—Latest Updates & Guidelines!

LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (LASUSTECH) RELEASES STATE OF ORIGIN VERIFICATION EXERCISE FORM FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

All candidates of Lagos State origin who chose Lagos State University of Science and Technology as their first choice in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) and scored a minimum of 195 and direct entry applicants are hereby informed of the commencement of the State of Origin Verification Exercise (SOVE) for the 2025/2026 admission exercise.

The SOVE Registration Exercise will start on Monday, 30th June 2025, and close on Friday, 18th July 2025.

THE VERIFICATION INTERVIEW WILL RUN FROM

* Monday, 21st July, 2025 to Friday, 26th July, 2025

* The interview date for each candidate will be specified on the application form.

PLEASE NOTE: The SOVE does not guarantee or serve as proof of admission into the Lagos State University of Science and Technology.

GENERAL INFORMATION

* ONLY candidates of Lagos State origin are eligible for the screening exercise. These candidates must be CLEARED by the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) BEFORE processing their POST UTME Screening forms.

ONLY candidates who scored 195 and above in the 2025 UTME and direct entry candidates are eligible.

TWO [2] SITTINGS ARE NO LONGER ADVISABLE FOR LASU ADMISSION SCREENING.

If you’re applying with two sittings, 0.3 will be deducted in each sub.

Everyone here should check if their JAMB subject combination and O-level results combination are the same as the ones on the LASU portal to avoid disqualification during the screening.,
If your subject combination does not tally with the one on the LASU portal, you can change your course to another one once the portal for change of institutions starts, so u could meet up with the requirements
