Kwara Govt Partners with TETFUND to Boost Education and Development Initiatives

According to statements made by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) and the Kwara State Government, their main goals are to improve cooperation in the fields of infrastructure, education, and youth empowerment.

During his courtesy visit to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq in Ilorin, Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, a member of the TETFUND’s Board of Trustees representing the North Central zone, told reporters that the current administration’s emphasis on inclusive education and innovation is in line with the TETFUND’s goals of creating resilient postsecondary educational institutions.

Shortly after the most recent TETFUND Board meeting ended, Engineer Adeyemi visited and praised Governor Abdulrazaq for his administration’s progress in building infrastructure and giving education and human capital development top priority. He also praised the founding of the Kwara State University of Education, calling it a historic accomplishment that demonstrates the governor’s dedication to expanding teacher education and opportunities for lifelong learning.

As the TETFUND Board representative for North Central, I believe it is critical to recognize and encourage visionary leadership like Governor Abdulrazaq’s.

“His administration’s emphasis on innovation and inclusive education is admirable and in line with TETFUND’s goals of creating resilient postsecondary educational institutions.”

Engineer Adeyemi reiterated his dedication to funding programs that equip young people with the tech know-how, digital literacy, and entrepreneurial potential they need to succeed in the information economy.

He underlined that giving the next generation the means to create, innovate, and lead is the first step toward sustainable growth.

Governor Abdulrazaq responded by expressing gratitude for the visit and reiterating Kwara State’s willingness to collaborate more closely with TETFUND and other pertinent parties in order to achieve high-impact initiatives that improve educational outcomes throughout the state.

As the meeting came to an end, both sides emphasized the necessity of ongoing cooperation in order to accomplish long-term objectives in community development, innovation, and education throughout Kwara State and the North Central area.
