2025 UTME: Missed Your Rescheduled Exam? JAMB Urges Candidates to Raise Support Tickets Now!
Candidates who missed their rescheduled 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for legitimate reasons are encouraged to file a formal complaint through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s (JAMB) support website.
The examining body released this advice via its official X handle.
Affected students were instructed by JAMB to submit a ticket on its official support website, providing a reason for missing the exam and specifying where they would like to retake it.
Did you have a valid cause for missing your scheduled exam? The board said, “Please submit a ticket to that effect on http://support.jamb.gov.ng explaining why you were unable to attend the session and where you would like to retake the exam.”
How a ticket is raised
- Go to http://support.jamb.gov.ng to provide a thorough justification.
- The explanation for their absence from the test
- The favored testing location for a retake
It is anticipated that this system will assist JAMB in promptly handling legitimate concerns and arranging for impacted applicants.
Candidates’ emergency support center
In order to help candidates with pressing grievances and questions, the board also established the Candidate Counseling Emergency Support Center (CCESC).
The new center is intended to supplement JAMB’s current ticketing system, which the testing organization believes remains the most dependable avenue for applicant assistance.
“JAMB has now established a Candidate Counseling Emergency Support Center (CCESC) in addition to our standard and preferred ticketing tool for candidate support.
Any member of the public, especially candidates who have legitimate complaints, can contact any of these authorities at 07002200016: Gbenga, Yusuf, Dubem, Tony, Ogbonna, and Emma, they stated.
JAMB reaffirmed that its digital ticketing platform is still the main and most efficient way to communicate with the board while introducing the new emergency help option.
Because it is quick, simple to use, and ensures a prompt response, the ticketing platform remains the main and most efficient way to communicate with the board, the statement continued.
What you ought to be aware of
The assistance center was opened a few days after JAMB declared that it would retake the 2025 UTME for 379,997 applicants who were impacted by technological issues at 157 locations throughout Nigeria.
- Affected candidates are being alerted by phone, email, SMS, and their JAMB profiles that the re-examination started on Friday, May 16, 2025.
