2025 JAMB Results Are Out! Here’s How to Check Your UTME Score Online or via SMS Instantly
This straightforward, step-by-step tutorial will make it easy for you to view your 2025 JAMB results online.
All applicants for admission to postsecondary schools must take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which is administered by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB). From April 24, 2025, to May 5, 2025, the exam was administered in 870 authorized computer-based test (CBT) locations nationwide.
Except for overseas applicants, there were 2,030,627 candidates in all. According to an examination board report, this year’s number is the largest in recent memory, surpassing the 1.8 million recorded in 2022.
By contrast, the 2024 UTME saw 1,985,642 registrants, up 24.4% from the 1,595,779 that were reported in 2023. The 2022 examination saw 1,867,743 candidates, 1,949,983 in 2020, and 2018 had 1,653,127.
The number for each year reflects both the growing need for higher education and the supply of admission spots.
Before checking your results, make sure you have a smartphone with reliable internet access and that the phone number and email address associated with your registration number are still active.
