UTME 2025: JAMB Delists 5 CBT Centers Over Poor Standards — See Affected Centers!

Five computer-based test (CBT) centers have been delisted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for not meeting the strict technological requirements needed for the current Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The board also declared that 27 people had been arrested for impersonation and turned over to the police for prompt prosecution.

This was revealed in a statement released on Friday by JAMB’s Fabian Benjamin, Public Communication Advisor.

Saadatu Rimi College of Education, Zaria Road, Naibawa, Kano, Kano State; Adventure Associate, Behind Sheshe Supermarket, Off Hadejia Road, Kano, Kano State; Penta M & F Technical Services Ltd, Center 2, 96km Sokoto-Jega Road, Tambuwal; Penta M & F Technical Services Ltd, Center 1, 96km Sokoto-Jega Road, Tambuwal; and Soronara Ventured Nigeria Limited, Foundation Road, Umudagu Mbieri, Mbaitoli, Imo State are among the delisted centers.

According to the statement, “JAMB strongly warns that any center that fails the ethical or technical standards, regardless of ownership, will be blacklisted, even though it commends the 883 centers that have shown exceptional performance.”

“To access their new centers and rescheduled dates, candidates who were originally scheduled to sit their exams at the delisted centers are recommended to reprint their examination notification slips immediately. We apologize for any hardship this may have caused, but candidates who do not reprint their slip to obtain their updated schedules will not be allowed to cite this as an excuse.

Out of the 2,083,600 candidates that registered for the 2025 exam, over 900,000 had successfully finished the UTME as of Friday, April 25, 2025.
