If you wrote your exam on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18, here’s a clear breakdown of what happened, what JAMB has said, and how you can check your result right now.

Reason for the April 17 Results Delay

Earlier, candidates who sat for the April 17 UTME experienced a delay in accessing their results, which sparked anxiety across social media platforms. Many expected results to be released within the usual 24 hour window, but this did not happen.

In response to the concerns, JAMB issued an official statement through its spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin (PhD), addressing the situation. According to the statement, the delay was due to routine verification and quality control processes. JAMB emphasized that these checks are necessary to ensure the accuracy and integrity of results before they are released to candidates.
