JAMB 2025: Institution and Course Change
In particular, for candidates who took the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) in 2025, this page seeks to notify all Jambites that the gateway for changing one’s course and institution or amending data is now online. Candidates wishing to change courses or institutions should be informed that the form costs 3,500 Naira.
NB: Verify all of the information you enter, and exercise caution while making payments. Visit any authorized JAMB CBT Center and complete your change of course and institution if you are unsure if you can complete it on your own.
Advice regarding JAMB course and institution changes
Make sure you are sure about the course or school you wish to transfer to before proceeding with the JAMB change of course and institution.
- Please take care of the following when completing the JAMB change of course and institution form.
Check if the school offers the course by looking through the JAMB booklet. If you experience any difficulties getting the JAMB brochure, we will be pleased to help. If you have any questions, please utilize the comment box. - Verify that the cutoff score for the school you plan to transfer to is not higher than your own.
See the federal and state university qualifying cutoff points. - Make sure the course or institution you select fits with your JAMB mix of topics to avoid being disqualified from your school’s admissions procedure.
- You can simultaneously change your courses and universities.
- With a single N3,500 fee, you can change both your degree and your university; however, you will need to pay an additional N3,500 if you choose to change your course or university again.
NB: There can be changes regarding the payment fee; just go prepared to avoid issues

One passport correction
Correction of gender: one-time only
State/LGA correction; one correction per state
Modification of your JAMB profile; one-time fix; Choosing a Course Correction or Institution (Corrections must be paid for separately, and they can only be made a few times.)
