ESUT Supplementary Admission for 2024/2025 Academic Session: How to Apply
The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) is inviting applications for supplementary admission from candidates who meet specific requirements for the 2024/2025 academic year. This opportunity is for candidates who selected ESUT as their first choice institution during the 2024 UTME and those who have changed to ESUT as their first choice but have not yet been offered admission into their chosen courses.

Who is Eligible?
To qualify for ESUT supplementary admission, candidates must meet the following conditions:
- Scored 160 and above in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Selected ESUT as their most preferred (first choice) institution. Alternatively, candidates who did not originally choose ESUT must make the necessary changes to make it their first choice.
- Met the minimum entry requirements for their chosen course of study.
- Taken the appropriate UTME subjects required for their proposed course. These subjects are listed against each course in the table below.
Available Courses and Required UTME Subjects
The supplementary admission is open for several courses across different faculties. Below is a summary of the available courses and their respective UTME subject requirements:
1. Agriculture
- Courses: Agronomy and Ecological Management, Animal Science and Fisheries, Agricultural Economics and Extension, Food Science and Technology.
- Required UTME Subjects: Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture, and Mathematics or Physics.
2. Applied Natural Sciences
- Courses: Computer and Information Science, Industrial Physics, Industrial Mathematics and Statistics, Industrial Chemistry.
- Required UTME Subjects:
- Industrial Physics: Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Biology.
- Industrial Mathematics: Mathematics and any two of Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Biology, or Agriculture.
- Industrial Chemistry: Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics or Biology/Agriculture.
3. Engineering
- Courses: Agricultural Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
- Required UTME Subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
4. Environmental Sciences
- Courses: Building Technology, Estate Management, Quantity Surveying, Surveying and Geo-informatics, Urban and Regional Planning.
- Required UTME Subjects vary by course. Examples include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, and Geography.
5. Education
- Courses: Business Education, Computer Education, Electrical/Electronic Technology Education, Building/Woodwork Education, among others.
- Required UTME Subjects: Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
6. Management Sciences
- Courses: Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance and Risk Management, Co-operative and Rural Development.
- Required UTME Subjects: Mathematics, Economics, and one other subject.

Application Procedure for ESUT Supplementary Admission
Interested and eligible candidates should follow these steps to apply for the ESUT supplementary admission:
- Pay the Application Fee
- Generate an invoice from the ESUT portal.
- Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦6,600 either online or at any commercial bank. Note that additional bank charges may apply.
- Complete the Supplementary Form
- Log in to the ESUT portal and fill out the supplementary admission form with accurate information.
- Change Institution on JAMB Portal
- If you did not initially select ESUT as your first choice, visit the JAMB website to change your institution to ESUT and upload your O’Level results.
- Submit Your Application
- Ensure that all required information and documents are correctly uploaded before submitting the application.
Important Dates
The ESUT portal for supplementary admission applications will open on Tuesday, 19th November 2024, and close on Thursday, 28th November 2024. Late applications will not be processed, so ensure you apply within this timeframe.
