Edo State University 2025/2026 Post-UTME Form Out

Edo State University, Iyamho, has communicated the start of its Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening process for the 2025/2026 academic year.

The screening will occur at the main campus of the university in Iyamho, Edo State, from Tuesday, September 2, to Thursday, September 4, 2025, with sessions starting each day at 9:00 a.m.

In a notice released by the university, candidates are urged to arrive early and come thoroughly prepared for the screening.

Departmental Minimum Scores

The university has outlined the following minimum UTME scores required for admission into its various programs:

Medicine and Surgery – 210 and above
Nursing Science – 170 and above
Law – 180 and above
Other programs – 150 and above

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the screening, candidates must:
Have participated in the 2025 UTME and achieved the minimum cut-off mark for their selected course.
Meet the specific O-Level subject combinations as required by the university.
Have listed Edo State University, Iyamho as their first-choice institution, or are willing to change their institution through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Documents Needed

Candidates are required to present the following items at the screening venue:

A printed copy of the Post-UTME application form
Both the original and photocopies of the UTME result slip
Original and photocopies of O-Level results
A valid form of identification (such as a school ID or national ID)
Two recent passport-sized photographs
Writing supplies

General Recommendations

Applicants are encouraged to be timely and to prepare adequately by reviewing relevant UTME subject areas. Practicing with previous exam questions is also advisable to improve performance.
