BSU Direct Entry Form – The Benue State University, Makurdi (BSUM) administration is already selling post-Direct Entry (DE) screening application forms for the 2021/2022 academic year.
For the 2021/2022 academic year, applications are being accepted from adequately qualified Direct Entry candidates for admission to the Benue State University, Makurdi (BSUM) degree programs.
How to Apply for Direct Entry Screening at the BSUM
Candidates must pay a two thousand naira (N2,000.00) non-refundable Direct Entry screening/registration fee using the following payment procedure:

Go to Admissions menu, click on:https://portal.bsum.edu.ng/applications/utmeScreening.jsp#
To authenticate your application, enter your JAMB number.
Once your information has been verified, click the “proceed” button to go to the payment platform.
To make a payment, select one of the three (3) payment options listed below. which one is it:
I) To make a cash payment at a bank, go to any of the following bank branches around the country.

Print your Payment Reference Number slip from the E-Payment Platform and carry it to the bank before proceeding. The Bank will complete your transaction and generate a Payment Receipt for you after receiving cash from you.
II) To make an online payment with a Mastercard, VISA, or Verve card, go to the Interswitch Payment Page and click the “Pay Online” button. To make a payment, select your card type from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the page and input the relevant information. You will receive a receipt once your payment has been processed successfully, and you can proceed with your application.
(III) For use at ATM machines.
With your ATM card, go to any ATM and complete the following:
Pay bills using Quickteller from the ATM menu.
When asked to enter the Customer ID, enter the Payment reference Number generated by the E-Payment platform.
When the Payment Code field is prompted, enter 04255101.
Fill in your GSM number and complete the payment.
After successfully completing the payment, return to the portal to login and print out your Payment Receipt
(IV) For payment using Quickteller from the Internet
Visit the Quickteller website:https://www.quickteller.com/bsum
while applicants for courses in the College of Health Sciences should visit https://www.quickteller.com/chsbsu
Enter your Registration number
Enter your email and mobile number and click “continue”
Follow the instructions on the screen to complete your payment
Print out the payment confirmation slip
Return to the portal and print out a payment receipt.
Note: This payment option attracts additional N100.00
B: Registration
After payment, candidates are expected to revisit the University websitewww.bsum.edu.ngand now select Post UTME/DE” on the left side of the University website, under “Applications” in the “Portal” section. Candidates must perform the following procedures to finalize their registration after they have arrived at the page:
To log in, enter your DIRECT ENTRY Registration number and then click the “Verify” button. For the Direct Entry screening exercise, you must register and upload your credentials online.
To complete your biodata, click the “My Bio Data” link. To upload the following documents, click the “Upload Documents” link:
* Certificates or statements of results from WAEC/NECO/NABTEB and A’ level (not online slips).
* A birth certificate or a declaration of age is required.
Affidavits/certificates of marriage
* A Certificate of State Origin is a document that certifies the origin of a product
* Slip for JAMB Direct Entry.
To print two (2) copies, click the “Acknowledgement Slip” link.
On the day of the DE screening, candidates must provide the Acknowledgement Slips.
Candidates must upload their O’level results on the JAMB portal.Only candidates whose O’level results are on the JAMB portal will be given admission after the screening.
