Because of the ongoing industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) has ordered all students to abandon their hostels (ASUU).
The previous circular No. 366, dated March 21, 2022, directed all students to depart the residential halls/hostels by Friday, March 25, 2022.
Students are notified that the University’s Management has examined the plea of representatives from the Student Union Government and has graciously accepted a one-week extension of its earlier mandate.
As a result, the revised deadline for all students to vacate the Halls/Hostels is Friday, April 1, 2022.
Students on Industrial Attachment (SIWES) and Teaching Practice (TP) will be able to finish their programs with this permission.
The new guideline will be strictly followed, according to management.
