Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) admission form for the institution’s new undergraduate programs for the 2022/2023 academic session
The administration of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Katsina, wishes to inform the general public that the National Universities Commission has approved the establishment of fourteen (14) new programs at the university, as follows:

Surgery and Medicine (MBBS.)

Management of Forests and Wildlife (B. Forestry)

B.Sc. (Ed.) in Integrated Science

Education in Business Studies (B.Sc. (Ed.))

Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A. (Ed.))

B.A. (Ed.) in Early Childhood Education

B.A. (Ed.) in Special Education
B.A. (Ed.) in Special Education
Education in Computer Science (B.Sc. (Ed.))
Relations Internationales (B.Sc.)
Management of the Environment (B.Sc.)
Developmental Studies and Local Government (B.Sc.)
Weather forecasting (B.Sc.)
Agriculture (B. Agric) Fisheries and Aquaculture (B. Fisheries)
As a result, the university wishes to invite qualified candidates who sat for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and wish to be considered for admission into any of the programs listed above to make (UMYU) their first choice institution and select the relevant course. Candidates who have chosen UMYU as their first choice for any of the courses should register for the post-UTME as soon as possible on the university’s website www.umyu.edu.ng.
Please keep in mind that candidates applying for the MBBS programme through the 2021 UTME must be Katsina State indigenes with a minimum score of 200 in the 2021 UTME.
Candidates who registered for the 2022 UTME or Direct Entry can also apply through JAMB for a change of institution/course, and their application will be considered at the appropriate time.

All candidates should be aware that they may be subjected to a post-UTME Aptitude Test/Screening and should keep an eye on the university’s website for updates.

Interested applicants are advised to ensure that they meet the minimum requirements, including the cut off marks for their preferred program. The website contains information about the requirements for each program.
