The Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) is selling application forms for admission to its certificate programs for the academic year 2022/2023. See below for instructions on how to obtain the PTI certificate programs admission form.
The Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission to the Certificate Programmes listed below for the Academic Session 2022/2023.

There are the following Certificate programs available:
Commercial Diving Certificate General Welding Certificate (classes I and II)
How to Apply for PTI Certificate Program Admission
For each PTI admission form for the 2022/2023 Academic Session, candidates applying for General Welding and Commercial Diving must pay a non-refundable fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00).
Prospective candidates should apply directly to Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) by following the steps below:
visit- http://portal.pti.edu.ng/ApplicantsSignOn.aspx.
Fill out the “Sign on page” online and then click “Click Here to Sign Up” at the bottom of the page. (Note: Save the Username and Password for future use.)
This will take you to the Remittal Retrieval Reference (RRR) page, from which you can generate the RRR code.
Print the RRR code page and bring it to any bank to be paid. Make a note of the RRR printout.
Return to the PTI website (pti.edu.ng) and click on “Return to my Application” after paying the N15, 000.00 admission form fee.
Click LOGIN after entering your User Name and Password.
Fill out the online application form and print it out; this will be presented at the examination/interview center along with your RRR print out.
If the portal rejects your USERNAME and PASSWORD when you try to login again after payment, please send an email to itsupport@pti.edu.ng with your RRR code.
The entrance examination for the General Welding Certificate program will be held at the Petroleum Training Institute in Effurun, Delta State, on a later date to be announced. Candidates are advised to report to the Petroleum Training Institute in Effurun, Delta State, one day before the entrance examination to find out where they will be tested.
The Diving Certificate interview will begin on September 13, 2022, at the Petroleum Training Institute in Effurun, Delta State.
CLOSING DATE: The online application period for the General Welding and Commercial Diving Programs ends on July 29, 2022.
LATE APPLICATION: Late online sales of General Welding and Commercial Diving admission forms begin on August 1st, 2022 and end on August 29th, 2022 at a cost of N20,000.00 per form.
