The admission form for the Centre for Bioethics and Research Training Programme at Lagos State University (LASU) is now available.
The University has received a request from the University of Ibadan’s Centre for Bioethics and Research to partner with Lagos State University on boosting the university’s research integrity.
In addition, the Centre requested that LASU designate a member of the University staff to be financed by the Centre for an MSc. Bioethics program with a focus on Research Integrity.
The University of Ibadan’s Postgraduate College administers the program, which is housed in the university’s Department of Bioethics and Medical Humanities.
The training will take place over two (2) academic sessions and will be mostly hybrid online with some in-person activities.
Requirements for Eligibility and Admission:
a) The candidate should be a mid-level academic or non-academic staff member who is highly driven and scholarly.
b) He or she will be required to apply for the University of Ibadan’s MSc program through the Postgraduate College portal for the following academic session.
c) Applicants for admission to the MSc. (Bioethics) program must have a Medical Degree Certificate from the University of Ibadan or from another university approved by the University Senate.
OR
d) Graduates of the University of Ibadan or other universities recognized by the Senate with a strong honours degree in any allied education, humanities, or science area.
e) For matriculation, all candidates must meet the University of Ibadan’s basic and higher degree requirements.
