JAMB Unveils Top Scorers in 2025 UTME—See the Highest Performers!
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the highest scorers in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
During the 2025 Policy Meeting held in Abuja on Tuesday, JAMB Registrar Prof. Ish-aq Oloyede stated that Okeke Chinedu Christian from Anambra State achieved the top score with 375 out of a possible 400 points.
He noted that the highest scorer selected the University of Lagos as his first choice for studying mechanical engineering.
Following closely is Ayuba Simon-Peter John from Gombe State, who scored 374.
Ayuba also chose Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) as his first preference to pursue mechanical engineering.
In third place is Jimoh Abdulmalik Olayinka from Kwara State, who obtained a score of 373 with UNILAG as his first choice.
Similar to the top two scorers, Olayinka also opted for mechanical engineering as his field of study.
According to The Guardian, all three top candidates are male.
