JUST IN: JAMB implements SMS short codes for accepting/rejecting admission - JAMB 2025 UPDATE*

JAMB has implemented the SMS policy for accepting admission. Admission will no longer be accepted on Caps

Candidates are to send ACCEPT to 55019 using the phone number used for registration in order to accept their admission.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has adopted the SMS short code for accepting/rejecting admission offers. Unlike before, the accept/reject button has been erased from the CAPS portal. Only candidates who have access to the phone numbers would be able to benefit from this system. It’s unclear whether there will be an alternative or a seamless way of changing phone numbers. Until then, keep in touch. Inform others.

Upon admission, you need to send “JAMB REGISTRATION NUMBER + SPACE + ACCEPT/REJECT” to 55019 using the phone number you linked to JAMB.
