Zoe College Ogbomoso Secures CBWASSCE Accreditation
One of just four institutions authorized by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) to administer the first-ever CBWASSCE in Oyo State is Zoe College in Ogbomoso. The Lord’s School in Oyo, The Concord School in Ibadan, and Sharon Rose in Saki are more educational institutions.
The Southwest Regional Co-ordinator of WAEC oversaw the demanding accreditation process. Zoe Schools made the city proud by flying the Ogbomoso flag.
In those four Oyo State locations, the upcoming WAEC, which begins on April 24, 2025, will be administered by computer-based testing (CBT). Only Zoe Schools and three other schools in Oyo State that fought for the CBWASSCE accrediting centers fulfilled the requirements.
In his congrats to Zoe Schools Ogbomoso Director Rev. Niyi Adebayo, Permanent Secretary and Inspector General of Education Rev. Dr. Dele Oyedokun stated his happiness that a school in Ogbomoso Zone could pass the demanding accreditation process.
Additionally, Zoe Schools’ parents have been praising the administration for their significant investments in innovations and technology, which have now paid off. For nearly eight years, Zoe Schools has been using CBT for its internal tests. This was mentioned as one of the key factors that made Zoe Schools stand out.
The director of Zoe Schools expressed her appreciation to God, the parents, the staff, and the management team, saying that it is the outcome of everyone’s hard work. The administration of Zoe Schools placed all WAEC applicants in the school’s dorm from April 14 to June 30 for rigorous tutoring, group discussions, tutorials, and a more thorough introduction to CBT in order to ensure 100% exam achievement. For the grooming exercises, Zoe teachers have invited more professionals to collaborate with them.
