Hope for Kano! Deputy Senate President Launches Scholarship for 300 Students
A scholarship initiative for 300 Kano students to study Postgraduate Diplomas (PGD) at different Nigerian universities has been started by Deputy Senate President Senator Barau Jibrin.
Students pursuing studies in artificial intelligence, agriculture, the environment, and other cutting-edge sectors will be eligible for the award, which is provided by the Barau Jibrin Foundation.
The program’s objectives are to advance higher education and human capital development in Nigeria.
Senator Jibrin emphasized the value of teamwork in building the nation’s educational system, saying that the government cannot accomplish this objective on its own.
“To raise the nation’s educational standards,” Everyone, every household, must take part in order to do it. The implication is that group activities are required. Everyone must be on board, including the government, religious organizations, private citizens, and even the average person. And for that reason, we are carrying out this project.
Sen. Jibrin said, “We began by sending our students abroad to study artificial intelligence, AI, and other courses, other programs, so that they will apply the knowledge acquired to a desire to develop our country.”
