WASSCE 2025: WAEC Unveils Free Study Portals with Past Questions & Examiners’ Reports for All Students!

To help pupils get ready for the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has introduced new online study tools.

WAEC is working to make sure students have the resources they need to succeed, and these resources are part of that effort.
At a press conference on Thursday, Dr. Amos Dangut, Head of the Nigeria National Office of WAEC, made the announcement.

To help students efficiently study for the upcoming exams, Dr. Dangut disclosed that WAEC has made essential materials available to candidates in the WASSCE Core Subjects, Arts Subjects, Science Subjects, and Commercial Subjects.

The authorized exam preparation tool for candidates getting ready for the WASSCE is the WAEC E-Study Portal. Schools, educators, and students can now access previous multiple-choice or theory-based WASSCE questions, lesson plans, marking schemes, and performance data thanks to this.
He advised applicants to use the portal by going to waec.estudy.ng.

Analysis of performance

To help students pinpoint their areas of weakness and increase their chances of success, WASSCE has also included tools that evaluate previous exam results.

“The purpose of analyzing students’ performance in prior exams is to identify candidates’ areas of weakness and offer solutions to help candidates learn,” Dangut said.

To further improve their study materials, students can look through more resources on https://WAEConline.org.ng.

Dr. Dangut underlined that the resources, which are intended to aid candidates in their studies, include previous WASSCE problems, answers, marking systems, and Chief Examiners’ Reports.

“To help candidates learn, this is a compilation of previous WASSCE questions and answers, the marking schemes, and the Chief Examiners’ Report on the pertinent examination diets,” he stated.

WAEC Connect

To ensure that all parties involved stay informed about the most recent exam information, WASSCE has introduced WAEC Konnect, a platform that facilitates communication between applicants, schools, and WASSCE officials.

Additionally, in order to help applicants and stakeholders prepare for the test, the WASSCE Konnect platform was created to allow them to communicate with the Council and with one another.

Candidates can enhance their preparation by using the portal’s access to past exam papers and solutions.

“To get started, candidates can visit https://www.waeckonnect.com/, which includes chief examiners’ report booklets along with previous question papers and answers.”

Things you should be aware of

A statutory authority called the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) was created to supervise and control exams in West African nations that use English. It guarantees that its credentials are accepted throughout the world by administering tests and issuing certifications that adhere to international standards.

The first-ever computer-based test (CBT) for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) will be administered by the examining council. It is anticipated that 1.97 million candidates from more than 23,500 schools nationwide will take part.

According to Nairametrics, WASSCE introduced a digital certificate platform in Nigeria in October 2022, making it simple to access and verify certificates anywhere in the world. For all parties involved, this innovation improves the certification process by making it more dependable and efficient.
