JAMB Urges 2024 Direct Entry (DE) Candidates to Upload Pending JUPEB/IJMB Results or Risk Losing Admission

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has directed all 2024 Direct Entry (DE) candidates who registered with pending JUPEB or IJMB results to upload their results immediately once they are available.

In a statement signed by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the board warned that failure to comply will result in automatic disqualification from the 2024 admission process.

What This Means for DE Candidates

During the 2024 DE registration period, some candidates applied with awaiting JUPEB or IJMB results, but many have yet to upload them. JAMB has clarified that, just like UTME candidates, no DE applicant will be considered for admission without a valid result.

If your application is still marked as “Awaiting Result” (AR) and you fail to upload your results, your application will not be processed. The board emphasized that any candidate who doesn’t submit their results will be considered as having none at all—making them ineligible for admission.

Advice for 2025 DE Applicants

JAMB also advised those planning to apply for 2025 direct entry admission to be proactive. To avoid complications and improve admission chances, candidates should upload their results as soon as they are available.

Final Reminder

If you are yet to upload your JUPEB or IJMB results, do so immediately at a JAMB-accredited CBT center to avoid missing out on admission.
