How to Check the UNN Admission List

Checking the admission list is simple. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you:

  1. Visit the Official UNN Website: Head over to the University of Nigeria’s official website at www.unn.edu.ng.
  2. Find the Admission List Link: Locate the link to the admission list. It’s usually listed under recent announcements or updates.
  3. Download or View the List: The admission list is a downloadable PDF or as an online page. Click on the link to open or download the list.
  4. Search for Your Name: Open the document or page and search for your name. It might be helpful to use the search function (Ctrl+F) if the list is long.

 

Alternative Method via JAMB Portal

  • JAMB Admission Status: For a different approach, you can also verify your admission status through the JAMB portal. Follow these simple steps:
    1. Navigate to JAMB Admission Portal.
    2. Log in using your JAMB profile credentials.
    3. Select ‘Check Admission Status’.
    4. Choose your exam year and enter your registration number.
    5. Click on ‘Check Admission Status’ to view your UNN admission status.

What If Your Name is on the List?

Congratulations! You’re officially admitted to UNN. Here’s what you need to do next:

  1. Accept the Offer: Follow the instructions provided by the university to accept your admission offer. This usually involves paying an acceptance fee and completing additional registration steps.
  2. Upload your OLevel results into JAMB Portal using a JAMB approved CBT Center if you have not done it.
  3. Prepare for school clearance: Gather all required documents, including your admission letter, certificates, and identification. Keep an eye out for orientation details and other important dates.
  4. Celebrate: Share the good news with friends and family. You’ve achieved a significant milestone, and it’s time to celebrate your hard work!

Accepting Your Admission

  • JAMB CAPS: First, visit JAMB CAPS to accept your admission offer. Failure to do this means you won’t receive your official JAMB Admission Letter and may lose your admission spot.
  • Paying the Acceptance Fee
    1. Generating Invoice: Go to UNN’s website or portal, and use your JAMB Registration number to generate a Payment Invoice with a Remitta number.
    2. Making Payment: With the invoice, pay the acceptance fee of N30,000.00 at any Commercial Bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank.
    3. Confirmation Slip: Ensure you get a confirmation slip with your Confirmation number and Invoice number after payment.

 

  • Completing Your Registration
  1. Admission Slip and Acceptance Form: Revisit UNN’s website or portal, log in again with your details, and print out your Admission slip. Complete the Acceptance Form online.
  2. Further Procedures: Follow additional instructions for fee payments and registration as stated on the UNN website

What If Your Name Isn’t on the List?

If you don’t see your name on the list, don’t lose hope. Here are a few steps you can take:
