Eligibility for Post-UTME Screening
- UTME Candidates:
- You must have chosen UNIMED (“Ondo State University of Medical Sciences”) as your first-choice institution during UTME registration.
- OR, you did not choose UNIMED as your first choice but are willing to change it to your first choice.
- You must have a minimum UTME score of 150 in the 2024/2025 exams.
- Direct Entry Candidates:
- You must have applied for Direct Entry admission through JAMB to UNIMED.
- Specific requirements vary by program, but generally include a minimum of a Second Class Lower Division on a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma.
Minimum O’Level Requirements
All applicants need a minimum of five (5) credits in their O’Levels (WAEC, NECO, SSCE, or GCE) including English Language and Mathematics. Specific science requirements may apply depending on your chosen program.
How to Apply for UNIMED Post-UTME Screening
The application process is entirely online. Here’s what you need to do:
- Visit the UNIMED website: https://www.unimed.edu.ng/
- Click on “Admission” and then “Post-UTME” to access the application portal.
- Follow the instructions to create an account and make the application fee payment using the university’s online payment system. (Important: Do not make payments to any other accounts!)
- After payment, log back in and complete the online screening application form.
- Print a copy of your completed application form for your records.

- Application deadline (to be confirmed): Be sure to check the UNIMED website for the exact deadline to apply.
- Screening Dates: Tuesday, September 3rd, Wednesday, September 4th, and Thursday, September 5th, 2024.
