Suitably qualified students are encouraged to apply for admission to the Katsina State College of Nursing and Midwifery (CONAMKAT) Community Nursing Program in 2022.
The Nursing & Nursing Council of Nigeria has approved this two-year, four-semester Community Nursing program (NMCN). It is designed to teach students practical community nursing skills and provide them with the knowledge and clinical experience they need to become Licensed Community Nurses (LCNs), who can provide nursing care to people who are sick or well and assist them in activities that promote health in the communities where they live and work.
The Kasimu Kofar Bai School of Nursing in Katsina is in charge of spearheading and implementing nursing and health care services to the general public as first responders, including home care (domiciliary nursing), consumables, first aid, primary case management, school health services, and prompt referral to the appropriate level of care for further management.
Eligibility for Admission to the CONAMKAT Community Nursing Program
Applicants must be Katsina State residents.
Applicants must have at least four (4) credits in WAEC, NECO, and/or NABTEB in not more than two (2) sittings, including English Language, Biology, and any two of Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
How to Apply for Admission to the CONAMKAT Community Nursing Program
The sale of Online Application Forms for admission to Kasimu Kofar Bai School of Nursing, Katsina’s COMMUNITY NURSING program will begin on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, and close on Thursday, June 30, 2022.
2,500 Naira (two thousand and five hundred Naira) for the form (excluding bank charges).

The admissions list will be released on Monday, August 8, 2022.
Monday, September 19th – Thursday, September 30th, 2022
Lectures will begin on Monday, October 3rd, 2022.
