The National Examination Council (NECO) is now accepting applications for the National Common Entrance Examination 2022/2023. (NCEE). The exams are only open to students in their final year of primary school. See below for instructions on how to obtain the Unity Schools Common Entrance Form.

The National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) is required for admission to Federal Unity Colleges’ Junior Secondary School (JSS 1). Only students in their final year of primary school are eligible to take the exam (That is pupils in Primary 6).

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has rescheduled the 2022 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) for admission into Federal Unity Colleges from April 23rd to May 7th, 2022.

The examination was rescheduled to allow states with low candidate registration to register their candidates for the examination.

All candidates, parents, guardians, and other relevant stakeholders are therefore urged to take note of the new examination date.

Candidate registration will continue until the new examination date is set.

Candidates, parents, and guardians are encouraged to access the Council’s website and download the new Examination Timetable.www.neco.gov.ng.

The National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) for admission into JSS 1 of Federal Unity Colleges in 2022 will be held across the country on Saturday, April 23, 2022, and Saturday, May 7, 2022.

Eligibility for NCEE Registration
Pupils in their final year of primary school who will NOT be less than 10 years old or more than 13 years old by September 2022.

How to Apply Online for the National Common Entrance Examination
The registration fee for the 2022 NCEE is four thousand five hundred Naira (N4,500.00) per candidate.

To register candidates for NCEE, existing users (Head Teachers, Parents/ Guardians) must login with their credentials. New users must:

Visit neco.gov.ng/ncee

Create an online account using phone number and email address
Activate the account from your email
Make payment into the NECO TSA using the following payment options:
CARD
BANK BRANCH
USSD
INTERNET BANKING
WALLET
Enter the candidate’s bio-data & upload his/her passport size photograph
Print photo card.

NOTE:

The National Common Entrance Examination is paid for through the NECO portal.
After registering a candidate online, changes to the candidate’s name, date of birth, and/or state of origin will not be permitted.
Qualified candidates who selected oversubscribed Colleges may be placed at any available alternative College, subject to the carrying capacities of the Federal Unity Colleges.
The website will be closed at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022, and will reopen on Saturday, May 7th, 2022.

Paper I

Part A – Mathematics and Basic Science and Technology
Part B – English and National Values Education
Paper-II

Part A – Quantitative and Vocational Aptitude
Part B – Verbal Aptitude
List of Federal Unity Colleges
Candidates are to choose any three (3) of the following Federal Unity Colleges as First (1st), Second (2nd) and Third (3rd) choices i.e. one (1) school each from any three (3) geopolitical zones.
