Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) is now selling the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (PUTME)/Direct Entry screening exercise and aptitude test application form for the 2022/2023 academic session. Only the candidates that made UMYU their first choice of institution in the last UTME and scored the prescribed cut-off mark are invited to apply. The management of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) wishes to invite candidates who applied for admission as first choice candidates into the university via the year 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry (DE) application; and who either missed the first aptitude test/screening exercise or changed their first choice institution to UMYU, to register for aptitude test/screening via the Po.

Candidates Selected for UMYU Post-UTME Screening
A candidate must have the following qualifications to be considered for admission:

Scored at least 130 points in the 2021 UTME examination;
Attained a minimum of five (5) relevant O’ level credits (including English and Mathematics);
Sat for the relevant UTME subject combination in the JAMB examination in 2021;
Direct Entry (DE) candidates must obtain a minimum of five (5) O’ level relevant credits (including English and Mathematics) in the relevant programs for which they have applied, as well as the minimum ‘A’ Level points for the program for which they have applied.
How to Make an Application for UMYU The UMYU Post-UTME Form Online Registration will begin on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.

Eligible candidates are to pay the sum of N2,000.00 only for the screening and aptitude test through the university’s application portal’s payment options.APPLY HERE

Eligible candidates are to upload the following documents on the University’s website :
JAMB Result Slip
O’Level Result (candidates awaiting O’Level results may apply and upload their results later);
Identification document (Indigene Letter, National Identification Card/International Passport, etc.);
Direct Entry (DE) students must submit their ‘A’ Level results (Diploma, IJMB, NCE etc).
Candidates for the UTME must bring a payment slip for the aptitude test, as well as hard copies of their credentials, to the test location.

Direct entry candidates are also asked to send hard copies of their credentials to the Registrar’s office after completing their online registration.

Please be aware that all visually impaired candidates are exempt from the Post-UTME aptitude test, but are required to submit hard copies of their credentials to the Registrar’s office.

COVID-19 HEALTH REGULATION: The Post-UTME Screening Exercise must be carried out in a way that avoids exposure to the dreaded COVID-19. ALL UTME candidates will be required to wear face masks and may be subjected to temperature tests, hand washing and the application of hand sanitizer, among other things.
