OAUSTECH 2025/2026 Post-UTME & DE Screening Begins
The administration of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) in Okitipupa, Ondo State, has announced the start of its registration for the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening for the 2025/2026 academic year.
According to a notice posted on the university’s website, candidates who designated OAUSTECH as their first choice and achieved a score of 150 or higher in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to apply.
Those who initially chose different institutions or did not select OAUSTECH are encouraged to change their institution via the JAMB portal to make OAUSTECH their first choice before registering. Direct Entry (DE) applicants must similarly list OAUSTECH as their first choice.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant O’ Level subjects, which must include Mathematics and English Language, obtained in no more than two sittings.
Moreover, candidates should be at least 16 years old by 30th September 2025 to be eligible for admission. Nonetheless, the university indicated that outstanding candidates younger than 16 who achieve a score of 320 or above in the 2025 UTME might be considered under special conditions.
It was also mentioned that all programs in the School of Science now have a duration of four years.
Departmental Requirements
For Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, and Public Health Science, applicants must attain a minimum score of 180 in the 2025 UTME and need to present their O-Level results from a single sitting. Additionally, they are required to take the Post-UTME screening test set for Tuesday, 30th September 2025.
Candidates seeking admission to the Faculty of Agriculture should be aware that programs such as Agricultural Economics and Extension, Animal Production and Health, and Crop, Soil, and Pest Management are categorized under “Agriculture” on the JAMB portal. They are advised to select the correct option during their registration on both the JAMB and university portals.
Application Procedure
Applicants must pay a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 online using an ATM card through the university’s application portal.
Prospective applicants should:
1. Go to the university’s website at [https://oaustech.edu.ng] or the admissions portal at [https://portal.oaustech.edu.ng/apply].
2. Thoroughly review and adhere to the application guidelines.
3. Register using an active UTME or DE number.
4. Verify that the registration number and full name match those on the UTME slip.
5. After successful payment, fill out the registration form and upload all necessary documents.
6. Print a copy of the completed form and bring it with you for the Post-UTME screening exercise.
