JAMB holds health walk-ahead 2025 activities<\/h4>\n

In anticipation of its 2025 activities, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) conducted a five-kilometer health walk on Saturday, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).<\/p>\n

According to NAN, at 7 a.m., the JAMB staff members started the trek through the Nigerian Law School road from the board\u2019s headquarters in Bwari.<\/p>\n

Kuduru Road, Bwari Area Council Secretariat Road, and the company\u2019s headquarters office are all traversed throughout the trip.<\/p>\n

Speaking to NAN on the sidelines of the event, Mr. Gani Abdulrahman, Director, of Human Resources, JAMB, explained that the purpose of the walk was to get staff members\u2019 general health in shape for the year\u2019s events.<\/p>\n

Since our work is typically demanding when we start the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), he claims that it is done to inspire employees. It\u2019s similar to waging war.<\/p>\n

Therefore, we choose to start with staying healthy first because we need to be emotionally, cognitively, and physically aware during this time.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe also plan to keep holding these exercises periodically; we have a sports club that we plan to revive to make it more contemporary and to motivate employees to take advantage of the exercise opportunities,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

Abdulrahman went on to say that the program will also assist staff members in monitoring their weight and building a robust immune system to fend off illnesses.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Halima Aliyu, a staff member who also talked with NAN, stated that the activity had not only given them a chance to socialize but also provided an opportunity for individuals who struggle to exercise independently.<\/p>\n

She said that being in shape was essential at all times, particularly for those who become overly focused on their work and ignore their body\u2019s cues.<\/p>\n

While expressing gratitude to the event\u2019s organizers, Aliyu stated that the effort will not only improve the health of staff members but also provide them with more time to unwind.<\/p>\n

Through its X handle, JAMB declared on Thursday that the information regarding the 2025 UTME registration procedure would be made available as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
