This is done by sending their NIN via their unique phone number to either of the board\u2019s sort codes (55019 or 66019).<\/p>\n<p>The board claims that the review covers the creation of enough test items to meet the needs of the computer-based Test (CBT) exercise, as well as the accreditation of testing facilities, the pre-exam registration procedure, and result management.<\/p>\n<p>Smarting from the insights gained from the 2024 review, the board has established robust measures to prevent the recurrence of the few challenges faced in 2024.<\/p>\n<div class=\"efzqxwh efzqxwh-post-inline efzqxwh-float-center efzqxwh-align-center efzqxwh-column-1 no-bg-box-model\">\n<div id=\"efzqxwh-998465-1652267283\" class=\"efzqxwh-container efzqxwh-type-custom_code \" data-adid=\"998465\" data-type=\"custom_code\">\n<p>JAMB has successfully created a pool of acceptable test items, finished center accreditation, and scheduled the start of registration for January 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Board believes that candidates participating in the 2025 UTME will experience an examination like never before,\u201d JAMB stated in a bulletin.<\/p>\n<p>JAMB urged candidates to build their profiles by texting their eleven-digit NIN number to 55019, followed by NIN (space), as they wait for the formal registration rollout. When the time comes, this will guarantee that they can finish registering without any delays.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tune_Up_For_Staff_Members\"><\/span><strong>Tune Up For Staff Members\u00a0<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>In order to prepare for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) procedures, it encouraged its employees to either register (for new hires) or update their information (for current employees), acknowledging the need to keep up with the latest changes.<\/p>\n<p>To prevent any protocol violations by applicants or examination officials, including JAMB staff, the board clarified that the effort is in line with its commitment to strengthening security measures that encourage accountability and openness throughout the examination process.<\/p>\n<p>All departments and outstation offices have been informed of the process for updating or registering on the board\u2019s intranet. By the end of this week, staff members must finish the registration or update.<\/p>\n<p>With the high stakes involved, the security of this examination is crucial, requiring strict measures to verify the identities of all personnel involved in its administration. \u201cAll officials must provide their details, including their National Identification Number (NIN), to ensure the integrity of this critical exercise.\u201d \u201cThis crucial process is part of the preparations for the upcoming 2025 UTME\/DE, which is set to commence shortly.\u201d \u201cStaff members who have not yet obtained their NIN are strongly encouraged to do so immediately, as it is required to create their profiles.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"efzqxwh efzqxwh-post-inline efzqxwh-float-center efzqxwh-align-center efzqxwh-column-1 no-bg-box-model\"><\/div>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Collaboration_With_Security_Operatives\"><\/span><strong>Collaboration With Security Operatives\u00a0<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The JAMB has persisted in pursuing collaborations with security authorities to prevent security breaches.<\/p>\n<p>In keeping with this, Commandant Agun Gbenga Joseph of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp (NSCDC), Edo State Command, recently had a courtesy call from Mr. Hassan Lawal, the Ag. Director, Benin Zonal Office.<\/p>\n<p>Lawal clarified that the purpose of the visit was to strengthen the friendly relationship between the Board and the NSCDC.<\/p>\n<p>The Commandant acknowledged the necessity of cooperation and promised the board his full assistance.
