JAMB ADVISES CANDIDATE ON RETRIEVING LOST PROFILE CODE AFTER SIM CARD LOSS<\/h4>\n

An applicant who lost access to the SIM card used to create their profile code has received advice from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board. The advice was prompted by an inquiry submitted on December 14, 2024, through JAMB\u2019s official Twitter account (@JAMBHQ).<\/p>\n

The candidate, who went by @PhilipBles96964, expressed worry that their acquaintance would misplace the SIM card associated with their profile. The tweet claims that because the SIM card was not originally registered in the candidate\u2019s name, attempts to restore it through the cell network\u2019s welcome-back procedure failed.<\/p>\n

In response, the board suggested that the impacted candidate seek help from the SIM card\u2019s original owner to retrieve it. The candidate is directed to text the keyword RESEND to either 55019 or 66019 as soon as the SIM card has been found. The candidate will be able to get their profile code back by doing this.<\/p>\n

Losing access to the profile code might seriously impair a candidate\u2019s ability to continue with their UTME registration, as it is a necessary prerequisite for finishing the registration procedure.<\/p>\n
