That\u2019s why, when they attempt to check, the portal simply returns the \u201cNo Result Yet\u201d message instead of a score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This means that, for many affected candidates, the issue is not technical, it is a JAMB policy in motion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Underage Candidates Eligible For Result Release & Admission Consideration <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">JAMB is not completely excluding underage candidates, but the conditions for consideration are extremely strict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To move forward under what JAMB calls the \u201cexceptional candidate\u201d category, a candidate must score <strong>320 and above <\/strong>in the UTME and also perform strongly in additional screening stages, with a minimum of 80 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only candidates who meet these criteria will be shortlisted and invited to proceed further in the admission process. Everyone else, regardless of how close they were, may not have their results officially released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In practical terms, this policy narrows the chances significantly.
