JAMB 2025: NSCDC Applauds Smooth, Hitch-Free UTME Conduct in Lagos

The Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has praised the state’s flawless 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) procedure.
Speaking at the conclusion of a monitoring exercise, Lagos State Commissioner Mr. Adedotun Keshinro reported that all four of the centers visited on the first day of the exercise were free of rancour.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the nationwide exam started on Thursday.
Additionally, according to NAN, corps officials were sent out to secure all authorized Computer-Based Test (CBT) locations for the examinations.

According to the commandant, from the information gathered across the several certified centres, the exercise has been peaceful with no known incidences of examination malpractices.

Mrs. Abiodun Odenike, the JAMB Ad-hoc supervisor at the Ikeja center, reported that the exercise’s first day went smoothly.

According to Odenike, the biometric verification process at the center started at 6:00 a.m. and ended at 7:45 a.m.

Out of the 250 candidates anticipated, the center registered 17 absentees, she revealed, adding that there was a lot of communication from the absentees.
According to Mrs. Racheal Onoja, the Biometric Verification Officer at the Isheri Oke center, there were two sessions held there.

Onoja stated that the first session started without any problems at 8:05 a.m. and that the evening session will start at 3:30 p.m. He was hopeful that everything would go as well as the first session.
